Meet Our Team
Julia Rottenberg is the President of Vote16 Culver City and a senior in high school. Aside from her work in Vote16, she is a research assistant at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs, President of Culver City High School’s Academy of Film, and is involved in her school’s music program as well as several clubs around campus.
Audrey Rothenberg is a junior at Culver City High School and the Communications Manager of Vote16 Culver City. She is interested in public policy and advocacy. She is the president of the Speech and Debate Club, a member of mock trial and Youth and Government, and a founding member of a non-profit that connects high school volunteer tutors to elementary school students struggling in English or math. She loves backpacking, reading, and listening to music.
Mimi Mirvish is the Media Coordinator of Vote16 Culver City and a junior at Culver City High School. Outside of Vote16, Mimi is a part of her district's Green New Deal Team, a tutor for a non profit, a member of the Culver-Palms Family Youth and Government delegation, involved with her school's AVPA Art program, and a long-time volleyball player. She is also in many other clubs around school.
Emi Sakamoto is a senior at Culver City High School and the Treasurer of Vote16. She also presides as the 76th Chief Justice of California, founder of Our Minds United and Poetry4Progress, Co-President of Speech and Debate, and English Curriculum Director of One Step Ahead.
Nava Waisman is one of the Advocacy and Policy members in Vote16 leadership. This is her second year involved in the Vote16 campaign. She is a Junior and co-president of the AVPA dance program at Culver City High School as well as a member of the CCUSD Green New Deal team.
Jamiee Bowman is a junior at Culver City High School and is a Policy and Advocacy member for Vote16. Aside from Vote16, Jamiee is involved in various clubs and extracurriculars, such as the Black Student Union, AVPA art, and the CCHS girls varsity volleyball team. She also takes pride in her longevity as a member of the Mizuno Long Beach Volleyball Club.
